Zodiac Collection: Taurus

We’re back for another eastern zodiac nail art. So for a starter, happy birthday to all the Taurus out there!

Now let’s break out the false nails. Since Taurus is an Earth element and the ox is often associated with farming, I decided to paint that for my mani. I had this stamping image of a person riding on the back of an ox that I loooved (basically the whole reason why I bought the plate) so I stamped that against a fine line pattern that makes me think of fields. Add to that a sheaf of grain and some more grain on the thumb and the nail art was done!

I have been disappointed by magnetic polishes before, but not this one. Music City Beauty made a gorgeous magnetic that was opaque in just two coats, responded to the magnet beautifully, and has tons of shiftiness. Like…I’m paying for it so please don’t be subtle, am I right? I’m sorry to say it was a December 2021 Polish Pickup polish so it’s no longer available, but if you see Music City Beauty selling a magnetic again, I’d definitely consider buying.

I used two different magnetic patterns here. The s-shape on my thumb, index, and pinkie. And then used the magnet all around the edges of the nail on my middle and ring fingers. It gives the whole nail a full on glow that’s somehow nicer than just painting it on straight. All in all, really happy with my base. Both the colors and the magnetism felt like a full-on salute to Taurus.
