I’m so sad I missed shark week, but finding the mental space (let alone the time) to paint last month wasn’t happening. But I found a way to fit sharks in as soon as I could and it’s even on my natural nails. Which should explain the tip wear. 😅

And with this mani my last Jaws movie stamping plate from Moyou London hits the used pile. They actually have a fourth plate, but I didn’t like the images on it since they were more violent. I’m definitely in the group of people who love sharks, but do not love how they are always portrayed as aggressors. Yes, they are predators, but I’ve seen plenty of drone footage of sharks swimming near people. They don’t want us, folks. We taste awful. Plus media also tends to just focus on the big ones like great whites and ignores cool ones like goblin sharks.
Someone needs to make a stamping plate with all the fringe sharks. Please, I have the monies…
I loved the base polish. It’s got a great deep purple/pink look and shifted plenty as I went about my day. Sadly, the light box is not great at bringing out maximum shift and since I’m not a swatch-er I can’t bring myself to buy things and fix it. Light box too easy. 😜
