The Changing Pumpkins

Jack-o-lanterns are a pretty standard nail art theme, so let’s get basic! 🀣 I painted this one clear back in November last year. It was all part of my plan to try and paint extra Halloween manis all year so I could post lots during my favorite nail art-ing month (October). I really might try to attempt it again for next year since it’s not a bad idea, it just couldn’t survive my creative shutdown.

And, while the base polish was unworthy, I wish I’d taken a little more time and gotten cleaner stamping images. I was in a rush to knock the stamping plate off my unused list. If only I’d known I’d use it twice this year. Hah!

Ah, Lakimu. The most garbage thermal polish brand I’ve ever used. Definitely not worth the $1 price tag no matter how nice some of their color combos were. I mean…my photos look pretty good despite my awful stamping job and they don’t change the fact that the formula is both a jelly and spends all of its time in the warm state once you paint your nails.

So despite what you can see in the photos when I used ice water to get the color to show, this is what you’d see:

Not nearly as fun as…

And now I’m off to check that I dumped this polish in my de-stash pile. I have way too many good polishes to waste time on one that sucks. Until next time, friends! πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ
