I bought some new Sinful Colors polishes before I left on vacation and the Iridescent Color collection is amazing. So I had to use one for the gradient manicure. “Shell Out” has a green shimmer that doesn’t just show up in the bottle. In fact, when used in a sponge gradient, the green will shimmer through the other polish you’ve applied and make the whole gradient look even more amazing. Great polish.

I passed on the other polish (from the Kylie Trend Matters collection) the first time I saw it. It looked really close to Sinful Color’s “Rich in Heart” (which they recently retired from the permanent line), but it stayed on my mind since others has reviewed it so positively. I caved this time and I’m glad I did. While it is similar in color, it is a tad lighter. “Rich in Heart” is lovely in full sun, but I work a desk job and I might as well be wearing black with it on my nails. “Haute Koffee” still looks rich and lively in dimmer lights. I adore it, though I will probably always throw a top coat on it to bring out the shimmer instead of leaving it in it’s original matte finish.
