I enjoy a color challenge, which is why I follow the pantone challenge so much, but there’s another nail art challenge with color prompts that I used to follow on FB called When Colours Collide. I think the last time I joined in there was August 2018. The major difference between the two challenges is that you can only use the listed colors in #WCC, which I find hard to do with the designs I like to paint. But I noticed they had blue and white for January and I already had blue gel on my cindy hand, so I decided to give it a go.
(Also I may be trying to flood my site with cat nail art ever since I discovered I had more nail art tagged with the bird tag. This shall not stand!)
Get that bird, kitten! How dare they try to out number the cats! 😆

Before there were kitties, I had just the metallic blue stampings. And I’m not gonna lie…I think they “made” this nail art.
When Colours Collide
I do enjoy color challenges, so I think I’ll keep a closer eye on the group and participate when I see a combo I enjoy. Blue and white is so classic it was easy to join in on. Sometimes they have cool and hard ones like chartreuse and brown. But meanwhile, here’s the collage. So much creativity in one little image:
Back to my blues…
I ended up turning in the photo below because I enjoyed how it showed off the way the metallic blue stampings would disappear in to the dark blue of the base polish. Truly it was lovely. I spent quite a bit of time just enjoying the colors flow into each other.
Another favorable angle…
And, at last, a far away photo to mark the end.
Until tomorrow, friend. For I had a lot of end the month collabs. 🤣
Looks amazing and super cute 😀
It’s like cheating. Cats are an easy subject. 😆
