Today’s theme brought to you by the @AZNailArtChallenge’s ‘W’ is for Wolf prompt and my personal goal to use all my holiday stamping plates this year. Also, my heart has been stolen by a magnetic polish. And I suck at using them so that says a lot…

I really struggled with coloring in the decals for this one. I didn’t want to use a stark white because I didn’t want to take away from the beauty of the base polish. But my first attempt–with a mixture of clear and white polish–was too light and my second–with a very light pink–was much better but uneven. I should have filled it in on a dark stamper so I could see how opaque it well. Well, you live and you learn. He’s a quick look at my first try:
And now let’s get back to my more successful version…
Emily de Molly’s “Be Still and Know” is the most beautiful magnetic polish I own. First of all, I love the coppery shade, but it’s also got this blue-green shimmer that hides until the light hits it just right. And somehow the rose hex glitters just bring it all together into this weird exotic harmony. I just love it. So here it is all by itself…
Yessss! So good…
Pssst…it’s still on sale here.

Finally, we’ll end with the group collage. Since I’m posting this fairly late, I’m sure most of the participants have posted their photos to the group tag so go check it out! Until next time, friends. 😘
Such a stunning manicure 😀
The base polish reminds me a little of an old OPI Shim-merry Chic! Just had it on a few days ago!
Thanks, Ananka! I looked up Shim-merry Chic and what a lovely shade. I can see why it reminded you of “Be Still and Know”. All that metallic goodness and then those flakes that add more. I hope you post some photos of it to your blog. 😀
