It feels like a black cat year since this is the second time I’ve hit on the topic on an already bare year for nail art. I even have at least one more planned before the months’ end, but realistically I have two more that I’d like to post. Alas, if gingers or calicos or any other cat would like to get some representation, I think they’re going to have to send an ambassador to convince me. I’m going to need…so much convincing… 🤣

I love how absolutely bright “Shake Your Shamrock” is. It’s almost a pity I don’t tend to paint St. Patty’s Day nails because it would be a shoe-in. Anyway, I knew I was going to stamp a cityscape of cats across my nails and usually I would strive to make it a continuous scene, but the image wasn’t long enough. So I decided that since it had four clear focal points I would just make my life simpler and stamp those as the focus of each nail. And I saved the skinniest ones for my skinnier nails so it’s not even in order. I’m not sure if anyone will even notice that the edges of the scenes don’t match. Probably I’m the only one that cares about that little detail.
For my thumb, I had a bunch of cool cats just posing in rows and I thought that would be a nice finish to a clearly cat-obsessed mani. Truly a simple nail art design.
An old favorite that also combines neon polish and many, many black cats. Always a win in my book!
And also really not simple since all the cats and banners came from one full nail image that I just kept pulling single elements from.
