I feel like we transitioned very suddenly from desaturated winter nail art to a neon punch in the face and I can’t apologize. It’s February and pink is in the air. Today’s look is all about loving llamas and llamas in love. I don’t know where my love of llamas came from because if you had asked me if I particularly loved them as an animal I would say not really and point to my cat.
But on two separate occasions I have purchased stamping plates that are all about them. So something is going on there. Don’t tell my spouse. 🥸

This particular mani was painted a little over a year ago and I just never got around to posting it. I think I was digging super schmancy backgrounds so I put extra effort into this one by stamping a pattern and then abstract blobs before I even got to the llama part. As with many of my nail art designs with a fancy background, I fully suspect there will be many people who feel I should have stopped at sweaters and blobs (although that does not make nearly as nice of a blog post title).
But I had llama puns and no one was standing in my way at the time. So I added them in as light and pastel of a manner as I could to stand in contrast with the super hot pink background. I could have used black stamping polish instead, but I think the pastels make it feel more playful and sweet.
