Vampy Matte

This is the last prompt from #NailCraziesUnite’s year-long prompt list so I decided to use one of the vampy-est polishes that I own: Cupcake Polish’s “Blood Hound”. But it’s cruel to rob a holographic polish of all of its holo-ness, so I stamped with a little bit of glossy polish to let it shine through. That’s it! I mean, this one of the simplest pieces of nail art I’ve done all year. The metal nail shield is one of the most common kind of full-nail charms that can be found on ebay.

The featured photo was taken in my light box which has LED lights. So the photos at the start of the post were taken under my Ott-light (natural light bulb) and the photo below was taken in full sun:

    • It’s a great trick. A bottle of matte polish and a bottle of clear instantly doubles the number of looks you can get from each bottle of polish you own.
