We’re at the fifth day of the #31DC2017 and I’m still hopeful about keeping up. Lot of blog posts though, so I am sorry if this is brief. I know a lily pond is probably a pretty typical nature subject–I mean, I’ve done a lily pond manicure before and it’s actually one of my favorites–but this time we are looking at it from below which was really fun to paint. 😀 I added fishes of no particular type because: Fish! I would have made them silver, but I like to interpret color challenge prompts as silent “onlys” so even the lines that look black are really a very dark blue. 🙂
- Nail Polishes:
Essie’s “Nama-stay the Night” and Sinful Colors’ “Summer S-cool” - The rest was done with acrylic paints.
One more manicure to complete my Rainbow Nature set! And now for more blue nail art from this year’s participants:
Pond themed manis are so much fun. I like what you did with the accent. That blue base polish is really something!
Thank you! I’m glad you like it! I had a lot of fun painting it. 🙂
