The theme for this When Colours Collide was Pink and Silver (only). I thought it was a good excuse to do something simple and fun with a stamping plate I hadn’t had a chance to use yet. I pulled out the plate, sketched a layout quickly and threw it all together in under an hour. I love the pink polish quite a bit, but the formula is just terrible. It dries quickly, but not solidly so I end up denting it. Even if I dodge that bullet it also tends to chip within 24 hours. But for a manicure I only want to enjoy for a day, that is just fine. I had more than enough time to enjoy its lovely grainy texture. The photos show the shimmer as more silver, but my naked eye often sees it as a blue-ish purple.
Possibly my experience with this polish is one reason why I never got the energy together to snap up some clearanced polishes when Sephora gave up nail polish making. Hmmm… Fortunately, there are plenty of other nail polishes being made out in the world that I want to use the heck out of. Take my money! ;D

Gorgeous mani! It’s too bad the pink polish is so finicky, because it really is lovely!
Thank you! The problems with the formula are sad since it makes such a lovely base polish. But I can use it in decals to my heart’s content and not have to worry about the formula overmuch. So in this way, you and I win through nail art. ;D
