Part of the reason why I’ve painted so much Valentine’s Day nail art is because I’ve been following @glamNailsChallenge’s prompts for the month. They could be interpreted in other ways, but I rather felt like leaning in this year because… Past Lisa kept buying Valentine’s-focused stamping plates with the thought that we had been good at using what we had and now wanted new toys. And I rather failed to keep count of just how many I’d gotten. I had a lot of options. So I’ve painted nail art looks for so many kinds of love: lifelong love, twitterpated love, self-love, false love, puppy love, friendship, and romantic love. It’s been fun, but I think it’s time to to be done.
And that means it’s time for some anti-Valentine’s Day sentiment. Because the opposite of love isn’t hate; it’s indifference.

I knew my base was glow in the dark, but for whatever reason I did not paint or design this nail art with that in mind. So I don’t think this design looks particularly cool in its glow in the dark state and my photos reflect that. You can scroll down and see one with the nail art on it, but I think this swatch looks better.
Maybe I was channeling the “meh” nature of the design to make something that is very cool to me normally be meh. LOL Either way we have checked off the box for anti-Valentine candy hearts this year.

Until next time, friends! 🙋♀️
