Today’s look is all about a cute teddy bear loving its child and protecting her at night from all the monsters. Creative Shop always has such amazing quality etched images on their plates. They go all the way from adorable to very naughty and buying from them is supporting a small business in Ukraine. They do have resellers in the United States, but you can also buy direct (which I have also done). Currently, they even have a winter sale going on right now, so now is a great time to check out their shop. (I am not an affiliate in any way, just a fan/customer.)

Creative Shop 115 has lots of adorable fairytale-esque images including three images of a cuddly teddy bear and their child. I thought together they made a wonderful story and I often tell a kind of story with my nail art so it was a perfect match.

I am divided about how much I like this design. The teddy bear turned out real cute. Using a little bit of a lighter brown to highlight its features really worked. But the pink I used to stamp the hearts and fill in the decals (Maniology’s “Flashdance”) is very bright. It works okay when at least some of the thermal polish’s warm state is showing, but it’s way too bright when it’s all cold. I kinda wish I’d swapped it out for one of my usual pinks, but done is done. Hitting the right color balance when you’re working with a thermal polish can be tricky, which is one of the reasons why I am slower to buy them these days.

We have learned and will move on. And at the end of the day I’m glad I got to use the three teddy bear images on the Creative Shop plate. I was also thrilled to find that this thermal had a magenta sheen to it. Magenta shimmer has been a big yum to me lately.
