Happy 2023!

One last nail art to post before the new year begins and of course that means it’s going to be New Years nail art. And it’s on my natural nails which have been fairly absent except for a few older nail arts I posted the past few months. By necessity for photographing behind the falsies, they are very short. I’ve actually been debating rounding them off and letting them just be nubs. 😱

It’s a trap. While they’re this short, they’re more limiting for me to nail art on. So then I want to use the falsies and they are nice because I can work on several designs at once. Plus I can play with different sizes and shapes. But then I look even more scattered because my designs follow lots of different styles and now my nail size/shape doesn’t even match. I don’t know if I can have the cake I want and win. Probably I’ll keep choosing cake. If I wanted to “win” I’d still be doing PR.

This polish is so pretty. I knew Delia had made it and didn’t try to acquire it immediately (like I did her rainbow set of glow in the dark polishes…they need to be used So Much next year). But then I saw it on her nails and they are so neon. So beautifully neon and yet still a dark blue. And application is really good too. You’ll forgive I went a little light on my index finger. I haven’t been painting my natural nails since August. Like…really at all. The excuse is always that I’ll have to take pictures soon and I don’t want to have to take it off. Then it never happens.

On the other hand, it means my hands actually match. 🤣
