Just as I was getting into nail art sticking feathers onto your nails was starting to be a trend (as far as I can tell). I never did it. So I thought what could be more delicate and fall-like than pheasant feathers which I already have? So I stuck these feathers to my nails and it worked out okay, but I don’t really like it. I can see why people were using dyed feathers because finding something that would look nice with the natural colored feathers felt impossible. In fact, I think I failed. But I can always say I tried it and it was not for me. I have much better uses for feathers.

I don’t know how it is supposed to be, but I think they look cool.
I think it looks like how it’s supposed to, but most of the time I saw people using brightly colored feathers and it just appealed to me more. Plus my top coat is overdue for thinning and I think that made a slight difference in how the feathers looked that felt too weighed down to me. Hard to see in photos…
