I actually posted this to the #WhenColoursCollide FB group fairly early on during the prompt period, but I have been late about it ever since. The colors were Mint, Grey, and Yellow, so not obviously Christmas-y, but a few ladies made it work, especially @polishedcalla (sadly she hasn’t posted the mani I’m talking about just yet). I wasn’t feeling like painting a light-colored mani, so I went looking through my collection for the darkest mint I could find. It ended up being Sinful Colors’ “Kold Kash”. So I went with that and a muted yellow for a nice mid-range color scheme. And then it photographed more blue than mint. I was able to adjust the color balance a little bit, but not nearly enough. I sighed and posted it anyway with an apology.
And Lena (admin) got back to me right away and said that as long as the polish was marketed as a mint, it was fine. I…didn’t even see her comment until after the collage had posted. Fortunately, it was marketed as mint, but I felt pretty bad about that. Sorry, Lena! I suck. 🙁 So I was late there and the collage posted four days ago and I am only now writing up my post for this and it’s 3 PM. Ugh!

Mundo de Unas’ “Dark Grey” - Advanced Stamping Polishes:
China Glaze’s “Five Rules” and Milani’s “Yellow Whiz” - Stamping Plate:
Born Pretty Geometry BP-X36
Color and timing problems aside, I really like this mani. It feels a bit out of my usual range since there’s no food or animals that are basically unprocessed food… *cough*
Oh, hey, look! The collage!
Is it a little wrong that I now want to paint lion nails after everything I said today?
