#aznailartchallenge on Instagram is on J for Jungle and #30daysofcolour has a holo theme this week. While poison dart frogs would have also made me happy, they’d be harder to do with the holo polishes I have so I decided to go with monkeys instead. Also, it allowed me to inflict a pun on others. My only regret is that I should have flipped the key over. Oh, well. I wasn’t sure if the manicure would look good with a shiny or a matte finish so I took photos of both. This is a good policy for nail artists (if you have the time) and I am not the only one that does this. The holo-ness disappeared with a matte top coat so I guess shiny should have been it because: holo theme. But it’s sadly easier to see the details of the stamping if everything is matte so I’ve only used one of my photos with shiny top coat… Also, I just like that subtle glow the matte look has with these polishes. I <3 Colores de Carol.

Awww, those monkeys are adorable!! And super cute with the holo background. I also really like the new photo collage you’ve been doing with the different macro shots. It looks great and really helps us see the lovely little details.
Thanks! I’m glad the collages have been improving the viewing experience. I was hoping they’d do that. ^^ I still love yours with the shaaark. We need more cute shark nail stamping images, I think.
