Bead Black Widow 1

One of my former co-workers commissioned me to design a black widow for her. I had several free spider patterns from my web browsing, but they lacked the bulbous shape of a true black widow abdomen. So I designed my own. It took me about three tries to perfect my design and she received her new pair of earrings just in time for Halloween. [spider belly] 4 cm from leg tip to leg tip and 2 ¼ cm long.

Materials: 32 gauge wire, 11/0 beads in black and silver lined red. 4mm black bugle beads.
