Today’s second look is a marriage between two Instagram prompts and my ongoing interest in using all the puns on Moyou London’s Noel Collection-10 stamping plate. Picking my pun was easy. One of the prompts was mistletoe which perfectly matched the Mistle Toad. The next prompt was ornament. The toad could technically could count as an ornament, but that felt too much like cheating. I decided to fill in the background with lots of ornaments and use a metallic stamping polish to make it half-disappear into the magnetic polish. Not stealing focus from my pun, but definitely there.
After a long debate on what I should put on my thumbnail, I thought it would be funny to actually have the toad being put to good use. So I shrunk stamped a second toad and added a couple kissing beneath him. I’m pretty sure the greenery tied to his body is actual mistletoe so maybe he’s just there for some extra nerd spice.

I really need to try “Space Storm” on more polishes since it’s supposed to be a topper magnetic. I’m sure it will be back sometime! It’s gorgeous! Really I just need to play with magnetics on the regular. There are so many cool things you can do with them and the techniques I’m familiar with always make for a lovely mani.
