This has literally been the first time I painted my nails in over a month but I really didn’t want to miss Mermay so I made time for painting today. Sorry that I’ve had to focus on other things lately. I wish I could say they were things for the blog and I had Big Plans, but it’s just been Life.
Anyway, I hope you can find peace with the shorter nail designs that are going to become more common. I’m just enjoying the freedom of not worrying that my nails are going to stab through a bread bag (or a tube of glue, which has totally happened). And it’s so nice to not have to patch any breaks…
Products Used
- Base Gradient:
- Sinful Colors’ “Shell Out” and Zoya’s “Marion“
- Stamping Polishes:
- Mundo de Unas’ “Black” and Nails Inc’s “Houses of Parliment” and “Kensington Palace“
- Advanced Stamping Polishes:

- Stamping Plates:
- Clear Jelly Stamper CjS-25
I tried using the Clear Jelly Stamper stamping plate as it was meant to be used (layered stamping), but my polishes just do not want to pick up cleanly on clear stampers. So I went with reverse stamping instead. Ah, friend, how you never let me down…
I do miss having fancy nails. Until next time, friends! π
