I haven’t been very good about keeping up with the alphabet challenge prompts on Instagram. This month it’s because I’m trying to keep up with too many challenges. By the time of this posting I have published 16 different manicures this month and I have 2 more that are going live today. Well, I made this one even though I’m not completely happy with it. After thinking about it for over twelve hours, I think I needed to slightly tint the land areas and have land area on each nail. Without it everything blended together and didn’t scale well since everyone knows real boats are much bigger than seashells and so the scale seems off even though it is obviously a paper boat. Well, can’t win them all. My ratio of nail art I liked after I did it used to be 1:1. This has been my first disappointment in a while and I am less disappointed now than I when I first edited my photos.

I actually placed this on the same white background that I did my earlier post One White Base, Four Summer Looks but since I had to send it in for the collage I couldn’t control when it would be released and so I am posting it separately. And, really, I’m doing seven looks with the background. 😉
