Love Birds

I really wasn’t sure if I would ever get around to using the Maximalist ManixMe plates that were in last year’s February box. They kinda fell under things that are useful, but aren’t particularly my style and so it’s a dice throw if I will think to use them. Luckily, I didn’t have to roll the dice. Instead, I made a little goal to try to use previous ManixMe plates that are in the unused list. It’s going well so far as long as I can stick to my plans so here’s hoping I have the time/energy for it.

Anyway I felt like the grunge-y look would go great with the tattoo-like stamping images from Moyou London’s Festive Collection 66 plate. The birds were so cute and why not throw in hearts since it’s Valentine’s Day soon.

Ironically, I used both stamping polishes in this year’s February ManixMe box for this nail art. It’s always easier for me to cross off nail polish since I am very picky about matching image styles and colors are just easier to match. Maniology describes Asteroid as a blue-leaning grey, but to my eye it’s the other way around. I’d categorize it as a blue first.
