I already had a tiny backlog of nail art to post and instead of posting those, I finished another collab mani that I wanted to post today. And it’s not for Thanksgiving because that’s barely a holiday to me outside of yummy food and seeing family. No, it’s Halloween. Because we are Halloween all year here. The prompt was the same as this blog title and the inspiration pictures that were posted are basically patterns of Halloween-related things.
So I decided what could be more cozy than a quilt? And what is more quilt-like and Halloween than the ManixMe plates Maniology released in September 2021?
Like, seriously, let me know cause I’d probably buy that plate too. 🤣
Nail art products used
- Base Polish:
- Colores de Carol’s “Hero of Time“
- Stamping Polish:
- UberChic Beauty’s “Pure Black“
- Stamping Plate:
- Maniology “MXM064“ (Halloween quilt with scorpions, centipedes, spiders, pumpkins, ghost, witch, brooms, crosses, and black cats)
Items in italics are debuting on the blog for the first time.
I kept this mani simple. I had a gorgeous orange magnetic polish that I hadn’t used yet so I went with that and simple black stamping. I did play around with the idea of something more complex, but I just don’t have the brain juice for that right now. Besides, what is the point of buying fancy magnetic polishes if you don’t let them do more of the work?
