This is a design I’ve been wanting to tackle for over a year now. So when #NailCraziesUnite had a Sweet Fruit prompt, there was no question what I was going to do. After all, I’d already gotten strawberries out of my system last year. Well, as far out of my system as they’ll ever get. 😉
My main goal for this was to use a jelly polish to make it look like something I’d want to bite into. I added to that with a shimmery white polish close to the rind and kind of freehand painted in the rind. It rather surprises me how many different french tip nail art designs I have done this past month or so. I am generally not into them, even though they can be very cleverly done.
- Base Polishes:
Frankensteined melon jelly, Sinful Colors’ Kylie Jenner “Koko-nuts”, Sinful Colors’ “Innocent” - Stamping Polish:
Mundo de Unas’ “Green” - Advanced Stamping Polish:
Frankensteined melon jelly - Freehand painting with acrylic paint and Sally Hansen’s Striper “Lime Green”
- Stamping Plates:
Born Pretty Summer BP-X24 (bikini)
Well, there’s not much more to say. Except that I filed 1mm off my nails because they were getting too long and were interfering with my ability to game. Gotta have my priorities. 😉
