So much of this challenge for me has been to get the manicure done as quickly as possible. (Mind you, I ruined that by using the base color I did. “Fresh Linen” is one of the crappiest formulas out of the Revlon Parfumerie line, but it smells soooo good!) So this was a really good time to dig out the one set of water decals I ever purchased and use them for the first time. Holy cow these things are easy peasy to use. I will be acquiring more now. Christmas-themed if I can get them. My mom’s been indicating she’d like to get her nails did by me, but she’s pretty sensitive to smelly things and water decals will help keep her exposure down nicely. Plus they’re a lot lighter to cart around than bottles of polish.
- Base colors: Revlon’s Parfumerie “Fresh Linen”, Sinful Colors’ “High Spirits”
- Water Decals: Born Pretty’s BPS005
Cathy at More Nail Polish set up an inLinkz so here are some of 2016’s challenge participants:
So the secret behind-the-scenes reality of this is that I’m writing up all the posts from Violet to Flowers (yep, 10 posts) in one night and editing some of the photos tonight and the rest tomorrow and then setting the posting schedules. That’s right, I ignore my audience of unknown numbers for days at a time. My cat also thinks I am a jerk.
