Vampy Matte

This is the last prompt from #NailCraziesUnite’s year-long prompt list so I decided to use one of the vampy-est polishes that I own: Cupcake Polish’s “Blood Hound”. But it’s cruel to rob a holographic polish of all of its holo-ness, so I stamped with a little bit of glossy polish to let it shine through. That’s it! I mean, this one of the simplest pieces of nail art I’ve done all year. The metal nail shield is one of the most common kind of full-nail charms that can be found on ebay.

The featured photo was taken in my light box which has LED lights. The photo below is under my Ott-light (natural light bulb):

And here it is in full sun:

    • It’s a great trick. A bottle of matte polish and a bottle of clear instantly doubles the number of looks you can get from each bottle of polish you own.
