Geometric Autumn

Well, I finally dug out my Born Pretty Chameleon Holo Flakes Powder pot and some no-light gels and top coat to see if I could make it work. Results were patchy and I really, really hate the black. It’s gotten very goopy very quickly and takes three coats for full coverage. Three coats for a black creme = you failed product maker. I am throwing this in the junk it pile. The red was only two coats, but it stained my cuticles so I had to wait a day to take my photos. And the top coat failed to really grip the powder as I buffed it in. I even added a second layer of top coat and tried to buff into it. Still wouldn’t stick. I need to try the powders with the real gel system I already have. Sometime.

I really loved the powder on the red so much more than the black. So pretty and autumn!

Were these nails perfect? No, but I love the way it looks so I’m really glad it’s on the cindy hand and can stick around for a while. Also, buffing with a non-dominant hand looks really, really pitiful.
