bonsai trees

Some sketches I did in order to earn the right to read a book. Yes, I'd sunk so low I had to make myself do them. *l* I used a book on bonsai trees as a reference, picked up the general shapes, and ran with them. I also experimented with different lines. For example, tree #2b's trunk was made with circular squiggles and tree #6's trunk was made with half-circle lines. I'm rather pleased with all of these.
