Jaws (NES)

Jaws is not one of the games my parents bought for our Nintendo, but they did rent it for us one of the few times we had a babysitter. I loved it and we did manage to get them to rent it for us one more time. I beat it later on as an adult using an emulator, but I can’t even remember what the ending was now. Painting it has given me the itch to play it again though so maybe I’ll find out the hard way again. 😉

I was planning to paint this for shark week, but I chickened out. I even had the base polishes on my nails for two days and I just ended up removing it and painting something else. I still had a hard time starting today, but I made myself do it anyway! #glamnailschallenge had a shark prompt for Wednesday and I was determined to not fail again. I kinda have since it didn’t get done until nearly midnight, but the important thing is to keep doing it until I don’t drag my feet anymore when it comes time to freehand paint something on my nails. I can do it! Maybe! Eventually with several tries sometimes! 😀

I added some original art from the game into the collage so you can see what I was trying to paint. Also, still sucking at taking progress shots. I need to maybe work on a system for making a videos of what I’m doing.

I’m kind of glad that I didn’t paint this for shark week. Jaws was not a good franchise for sharks and, at least for me, shark week should be about what sharks are. So scary sexy monster fest franchises that get sharks killed in the real world because people are overly scared of them are not a good idea. Even if I enjoyed playing the game. I am a little sad that Rachelle didn’t paint Sharknado nails for it though. 😉

Share it if you love it!
