The prompt for #clairestelle8challenge was ice cream/Popsicle and, lucky me, my order for Bundle Monster’s Hangloose collection arrived Saturday. It has a plate with lots of frozen treats (BM-S408). Felt like a victory to be able to use it right away. I kept it simple since the weekend was full of Stuff To Do, but I think it worked well. And I finally got to use my bottle of Colores de Carol’s “Ava”! Hopefully I will have some nail art that features it more heavily next time. Mmmmm…salmon pink. ^^
And now…a photographic battle: matte vs shiny finish. Which will win the battle for your heart?
- Base Colors:
Colores de Carol’s “Ava”, “Aria”, and “Mila”, Heather’s Hues’ “Hydrangea” - Stamping Polish:
Essie’s “Partner in Crime” - Advanced Stamping Polishes:
Colores de Carol’s “Ava”, “Aria”, and “Mila”, OPI’s “Going My Way or Norway?”, Sinful Colors’ “Daisy Daze” and “Whiteboard” - Stamping Plate:
Bundle Monster BM-S408
Items being used for the first time are in italics. I’d also like to add, I used Heather’s Hues’ “Hydrangea” for the first time as well and it worked great. I may have to hit up Heather’s Hues again someday for more polish.
Well, matte won the battle for my heart. As for which frozen treat I’d rather eat, I think I’d go for the double scoop of ice cream because I’d get more to eat. How about you? 😉
These are so adorable, and a fabulous use of that plate! That’s my favorite plate in that collection- it is too stinking cute. I really love how you put the ice creams over different colors of nail polish. It’s really fun and interesting!
Thank you! It really is the cutest plate in the collection (although I am really excited to play with the turtle plate!). I color blocked my nails! Do you remember that trend? Is it still going? I’m horrible at tracking fashion trends.
