Only a little late for 26 Great Nail Art Ideas. There was a debate about what the topic meant, but the great thing about this group is that all interpretations are welcome. So I decided freestyle to me meant Dance!
Also: fan brush stripped. I did some of that too. The frost color actually thwarts the camera from picking up on how holographic the Colores de Carol “Malachite” is. I’m a little sad about that (and thrilled that my new order of Colores de Carol polishes should be here tomorrow).
- Base Polish:
Colores de Carol’s “Malachite” - Dry Brush Polishes:
Jenna Hipp’s “Say Yellow to My Little Friend”, Sinful Color’s Sugar Crushin’ “Sweeten the Teal”, Wet ‘n’ Wild’s “Carribean Frost” (that’s how they spelled it on the bottle, sorry) - Stamping Polish:
Mundo de Unas’ “White” - Stamping Plates:
Blueness-057, Born Pretty’s BP-X07, Qgirl-019, TU-023
Items being used for the first time are in italics.
I should also add that I finally went through and tagged all of the polish and nail stamping plates I have mentioned in my posts. So you should now be able to click on a link and if I’ve used the item in another manicure on the blog, you’ll get to see it. Sadly, this doesn’t cover all of the nail art I did before I started the blog. I did not keep track of what I used on each manicure, but I do know which polishes I have used before for the most part so I can at least mark if something is being used for the first time. I’m thinking of eventually making a page for my collection so you can see everything that’s been used and the corresponding posts.
And now, here are the other contributors to this theme from Crumpet’s Nail Tarts:
I love the creative interpretation of is prompt! Freestyle dance is definitely something that never crossed my mind- I really live what you did with it!
Thanks! I honestly wouldn’t have thought of it if I wasn’t going through my unused nail plates for inspiration. I was just going to try the fan brush technique and throw something on top. 🙂
